The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization of women and men that encourages informed and active participation in government. It works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. It does not support or endorse any political party or candidate.

Anyone over 16 may become a voting member of the League. A person who joins a local League also becomes a member at the national and state levels.

Republican Primary, June 23select an opponent to run against US Senator Mark Warner

Only those who register to vote by May 26 will be eligible to vote on June 23. Any registered voter can vote in the primary as Virginia does not register people by political party.

Absentee ballots: Apply for an absentee ballot online at https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation. Select reason 2A for disability or illness (does not require documentation).  Last date to request: June 16, 2020. Absentee ballots must be received by 7 pm on June 23.
